Don't expect that this will work straightaway with all TVs. Modern TVs have only one OPTICAL(digital) audio output.
Some of them don't have the analog( white and red) or 3.5mm audio. To make it work with those TVs you have to buy a converter (optical to analog) and optical cable. The converter is available in eBay and Amazon for. Reception is good out to the street in front of my house, over 100 feet away from the stand with the 900 MHZ trabsmitter in my livingroom. There is a problem far out there if I am walking along, as I intersect one antenna lobe after another and the signal drops out momentarily. But if I stop walking and stand still, the reception is fine. If I happen to stop in an antenna null (between lobes), moving forwards or back just a foot or two restores the signal for good reception.

Antenna lobes are perfectly normal, prticularly when the transmitting and receiving antennas are located close to the ground.Sound quality is also very good, particularly the bass frequencies, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I may buy another one for my wife so we can both listen to classical music CDs while sitting together out on one of our patios.
We have a rule in my neighboorhood against playing noisy radios outdoors, so the headphones are very appropriate. What a nightmare. To install the batteries, you have to pull off the right headphone ear cushions. No problem there. Battery install pretty straightforward. But, putting the ear cover back on was a total nightmare. Download 64 bit installer. Made me want to pack them up and throw them back at Sams, or better yet, JVC.The instructions read - slide the cover on anti-clockwise until it goes into the groove (I guess that means counter-clockwise).
If it doesn't go in, do it again.What it should have said was again and again and again and again, until you throw them in a fit of despair. I tried for an hour last night.Tonight, I wrestled with them some more until I finally forced the darn things on, fearful of tearing them the whole time. Handling the earphone is awkward as it rocks back and forth as you're trying to steady it and slip (a huge misnomer) it on. I'm sure I could wrestle a bear easier.Really.
I haven't even used the darn things yet and I hate them.
