BiographyIf we were to compile a list of all that’s useless in modern rock music, we’d be here for days. In fact, it’d probably be easier – and quicker – to rattle off the few undeniably great things roaring up from the underground. Take Indio, California’s HOUSE OF BROKEN PROMISES.

With their Small Stone debut “Using the Useless” this trio is leading the charge against mediocrity and watered down tepidness.Formed from the ashes of the late, great, and woefully underappreciated UNIDA (which also featured John Garcia of KYUSS fame), HOUSE OF BROKEN PROMISES is a no-holds-barred double shot of classic hard rock. You can’t write riffs like the ones found on “Blister” and “Highway Grit” without them being part of your DNA. You can’t lay down grooves like those on “Walk on By” and “Obey the Snake” by accident. DRP's Lightz V. 2.0I know that one thing that bugs us all is the fact that the lights in the game are so limited. You only get a few colors, and lighting the inside of an attraction looks unapealing because of lights floating in the air.This is why I created DRP's Lightz. Basically, it contains seven colored lights for you to place inside of your attractions. But that isn't the cool part. The cool part is that light is emitted from a very small white sphere.

So, when you put lighting effects on the inside of your attractions, the object that emits the light is barely noticeable. That way, you don't have a floating lamp when trying to light the top corner of a room. Here are some pictures of what the lightz can do.plain old gothic cathedral is transformed into a spooky room with ambient lighting. (uses blue)egyptian movie set is filled with color (uses orange, yellow, and blue)Information-The lightz come in seven colors: Red, Purple, Blue, Cyan, Green, Orange, and Yellow.-They have no collision detection, so they can be placed anywhere.-They are under the 'small scenery' tab-More colors/lightz may be added, so check for updates regularly.

I am still trying to figure out everything there is to figure out about light effect pointsEnlightening tips-The radius of the lightz is 10. Basically, this means that lights will illuminate about 2.5 squares outward. The envelope will not effect the light in any way whatsoever, so feel free to place them anywhere. I proposed an idea on the forums a while ago, about making stars. Stars that look like the firework 1000 stars, but is scenery! Since you could figure out how to do this, could you figure out how to create 10-15 little specs of light that take up a 4 square area, that you could place anywhere? BRAVO!Only if you can make the dim/grow-in-the-dark light, otherwise it might be too bright in the room (or flash from overdue lights) if the big room is fill up of the star with lighting effect, might not work for dark ride that it will lit everything too much like the track rail will be visible by from bright star lights.Anyway, good news that you have discovered how to the custom lighting in the game. The only complaint I have with this pack is that the lights start up to high and for some reason it dosnt seem like its always in the corner when you spin it.Well I figured out how to make the well laser tunnle effect with these and jcats steelworks what you do is make a long straight area where you can put the tunnle piece on. Nice Work DRP,these will get a lot of use. I got to play around with them a bit, they are GREAT as accent lights also. Heres a couple of pics to show everybody. In the towers dark blue was used They don't show thru Pumpers Dark Ride Tubes, which in my mind is a good thing, under the statue, orange and in the 4 pools,.

I use them a lot.(BTW, Nice avatar DRP). I have a little challenge for you Dark Ride Person, though I'm not entirely sure this is even possible. We have these lights, which are awesome by the way, and they work in such a way that when daylight comes they turn off. Now the challenge I have for you is this: is there any way these same lights can be integrated and controlled in the fireworks mixmaster?

The reason why I ask is because any firework particle created to give the illusion of light does not reflect off of and change scenery like a park light, or these lights, do. What I'm thinking is being able to use these lights to light buildings and the park so when a firework show starts, they go out.

Plus, you could use them to create neat effects during the show, such as changing colors on Cinderella Castle during a fireworks display. What I find with particle created lighting is that you get a dense light that envelopes a building or scenery object, where these lights simply illuminate the walls themselves.Hope that makes sense, and you would be my new best friend if you figured out a way to do this (if, of course, it is infact possible).:D. (Your archived file was a mess). I didn't care for the golf ball sized lights from the first set and the omission of white light. But now, it's SO much better.except for one tiny little oops.The orange light has collision detection turned on, whereas all the others don't.But besides that, great job on this, and I have a feeling this is only the beginning of some new, cool features we'll be seeing when the tranformation matrix is fully figured out.

I can light the sign up, but I cannot actually get a neon texture onto the sign. That would require adding an additional texture to the light. Oh right, sorry:oI took them as enviromental lights considering most of the screenshots i've seen in the thread. But being a muppet, i didn't look/read the title. A day/night version, but i don't think theres anyway of scripting the objects to change when it changes time.

I know we can use the darkride black wall set to create pitch blackness, but building a black 'shell' around an entire ride is pretty tedious. Just a thought. I was wondering if you had the chance to read my earlier post about integrating these lights into the Mixmaster DarkRidePerson. Is that even possible?I did read that postUnfortunately, this is not possible. The reason for this is that the mixmaster uses particle effects and lasers and the like. These are mostly static images that have been doubled over themselves.Lights, on the other hand, work by overlaying color and luminosity onto the surrounding textures.Currently, the game's engine does not support the use of lights in the mixmaster. All i have to say is THANK YOU! This set has allowed almost everyone to accent their parks and coasters. It really vitalized the night in my latest park:just isnt green without.more green:for coaster elements, the red makes a dramatic tunnel entrance:again DRP - this set totally enhanced the game and brought it to a new level.

Maybe this has been answered already.but here goes. I want to include the revised pack, but will I need to delete the current pack from my folder, or will the new one simply overwrite everything? I really don't want to have to go through Royaume and delete every single light (mostly 'cause they're so hard to locate from a distance).on these, you don't have to delete them from the parks, because they are the same exact model as before. However, you must delete them from your stylethemed folder first.

The reason the envelope is there is to remind you where you put the lights, so you don't have to look around. EDIT: I've solved the problem, I didn't know that lightz and leftoverz doesn't appaere in the wall category, but in another one, sorry. All is 100% working.The lightz doesn't work with my computer.But is that possible: I've installed 4 packs (Pumper's Dark Ride, Klinn's Electroshock, Marnetmar's Leftoverz and Lightz) at the same time and only two of them have been working when I started playing RCT3.

But now I have the Platnum version and starting over ADVENTURE PARK witch has seven main lands, Coloneal Plaza, Fairytale Kingdom, Old West, Future World, Spooksville, Jungle Island, and Pirate Docks. There are more lands and lots of exiting rides when I finish I'll put it up fore download but I need a castle for Fairytale kingdom. I want it to be like disneylands but unique.

PLZ help someone.
