F,-config FILE The file name that contains inadyn command options exactly as specified in the command line syntax (adds to those already present on the cmd line). The default configuration file name, /etc/inadyn.conf, is looked at automatically if inadyn is called without any command line options. The format is as expected for a UNIX config. A configuration formula fills in this template and puts it in /etc/inadyn.conf: then sets up the appropriate rc2.d/ boot script, and starts the service. More than DynDNS. There are certain advantages if we expand the design of the freedombox to include a partner cloud node for each freedombox node at home. Configuration Options The following configuration options are available for inadyn-1.96.23: DOCS=on: Build and/or install documentation Use 'make config' to modify these settings.

Note that /run/inadyn was originally owned by root.As you see in the log file, the daemon failed to run. I manually changed the owner, then re-started the daemon using 'sudo /etc/init.d/inadyn restart'. It's running finenow.Regards,-Steve (text/plain, attachment) (text/plain, attachment) (application/pgp-signature, inline). As you see in the log file, the daemon failed to run. I manually changed the owner, then re-started the daemon using 'sudo /etc/init.d/inadyn restart'.

It's running fine now.The package had installed w/o any errors?Would you please uninstall the package completely (w/ run/log dirs, config)and install it again. Right after install please run following commands, and show its output.$ ls -la /run/inadyn (there should be error)$ ls -la /var/log/inadyn$ ls -l /etc/inadyn.confThanks.-Timur. That seems to be a fairly common idiom.Yep, 'restart' calls 'stop' and then 'start' which are implemented as ordinaryfunctions, dostop and dostart. But createcachedir is called outside ofthe dostart. I guess dostart could call createcachedir.Ok. If you agree I'll close the bug.Thanks.-Timur. If you agree I'll close the bug.Yes: moving the call to createcachedir inside dostart would fix theissue.Thanks!-Steve (application/pgp-signature, inline).
