The problem is that I have a LOT of specialty plugins that currently only work in CorelDraw X6. The makers of these plugins have yet to get them compatible with CorelDraw X7. Ok here is what I did that allows my CorelDraw X6 to work fully again: I added: 127.0.0.1 mc.corel.com 127.0.0.1 apps.corel.com To my Windows Hosts file. Now all of the menus (save, exports, print, etc) work again! When opening CorelDraw X6 I still get the Illegitimate Version warning and that it is switching to Viewer Mode. This appears to be in the: 'Messages.'
Menu under the help menu. Does anyone know exactly where Coreldraw stores these messages so that I may delete the message? I have checked in AppData, etc. I think by deleting the message should fully solve the problem, but I cannot find where Corel stores these messages.UPDATE.
I added those entries to the Windows Hosts file. I completely uninstalled CorelDraw X6 and User Data. I then reinstalled CorelDraw X6. So far so good. BUT!!!!, do NOT install the 6.4 Hotfix 1 update!!
Only install the 6.4 update NOT the 6.4 HF1! Thanks for any help!
